Animated Heading
Allen Wrench
An L-Shaped bar with a hexagonal head.
Chisel
A bladed hand tool with a bevelled head for cutting or shaping.
Clamps
A brace used to hold pieces together and acts as another hand.
Hammer
A tool with a metal head used to drive nails into wood.
Hand Plane
A hand tool used along with some strength and a sharp blade, to shave fine pieces of wood off to achieve a smooth surface or shape wood.
Hand Saw
A blade with teeth attached to a handle, used to cut or ‘saw’ pieces of wood to size.
Mallet
Similar to a hammer with a large wooden or rubber head, usually used to hit another hand tool such as a chisel.
Screw Driver
A metal tool attached to a handle, used to fit the head of a screw. The screwdriver is then rotated to coerce the screw into the material.
